Since graduating from Penn in 2006, I’ve been very involved in the alumni community.
From 2006-2010, I served as president of the Penn Alumni Club of Philadelphia. With the involvement of a diverse board, we hosted over 40 events a year, engaging a broad section of the 30,000+ alumni of the University of Pennsylvania living in the Philadelphia-area. We put together annual Stakeholder Reports, documenting our programs and use of resources. The 2009 report included tributes from Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell. The PECO building’s congratulatory message was visible to all of Philadelphia. We compiled a video highlighting how some of our members described their involvement with the club.

Since 2008, I have served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Penn Alumni. My primary role is with the Communications Committee, with a focus on supporting the work of Penn Alumni on Twitter, the FranklyPenn blog, and a mobile application.
I served as the co-chair of my 5th reunion gift committee, along with Oren Isacoff and Nina Vyas. Together with our classmates, we raised over $100,000 for undergraduate life at Penn, while celebrating our reunion with a record-setting number of attendees. Pictures from the reunion are on our Facebook page.
